Yes, with your agreement. Your dealer will need time to complete the administration to register and tax your car ready for collection. The insurance will need to be in force at the point of taxation and registration. This may not always be possible on the day of collection so your dealer may need the insurance to start earlier to enable them to have the car ready for you for the agreed collection date. Please ensure you have agreed this with your dealer before applying for Peugeot 7 day free cover. Please also ensure that you have full annual insurance cover in force from the date on which your 7 day free cover will end.

Can I have more than one Peugeot 7 day free cover?
No. Cover is limited to one 7 day free cover per customer per car.

What is the excess on the 7 day free cover?
Accidental damage, Fire and Theft excesses are all a compulsory £500.

What is not included in 7 day free cover?
7 day free cover does not provide Uninsured Driver Promise, Uninsured Loss Recovery, Personal Effects cover, a Courtesy Car, Medical Expenses cover, or the option to extend cover for full foreign use. 7 day free cover will not provide cover for Driving Other Cars.


Do I need to keep my car garaged/alarmed/immobilised to get cover with you?
We do not insist on a car being garaged before cover is offered. However there are certain vehicles whereby we insist on an immobiliser and/or a tracking device being fitted before theft cover is allowed. A policy can still be accepted, however you would need to forward proof of installation. The system will highlight those with a security requirement and all the acceptable devices will be noted on the drop-down listings (as supplied by Thatcham)

What is No Claim Discount (NCD) or No Claim Bonus?
They are both the same. However, as a company we use the term ‘No Claim Discount’ (NCD). This is the term used to describe the discount insurance companies give policyholders when they have not made a claim or have not had a claim made against them. This is usually expressed in years.

What do I need to provide as proof of my No Claim Discount (NCD)?

Do you insure commercial vehicles?
Yes, we will insure light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tons and engine capacity up to 2500cc for business use however, we can only offer cover in an individual’s name. Your business name may be noted on the policy but cannot be the policyholder. We do not offer commercial fleet insurance.

Do you insure motorbikes/caravans?
No. We only insure privately owned cars and light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tons as noted above.

What is a credit score?
A score is provided by the credit reference agency Experian, based on information about an individual's previous financial history.

Where does the credit score come from?
The credit score / rating is provided by Experian who are an U K Insurance Limited approved supplier of financial information.

Will you be able to tell me what my credit score is?

The score will be held securely within your personal records on our system, along with the information you provide to us.

What affect will this search have on my credit score?
An “insurance” credit search will leave a ‘footprint’, visible only to you and Experian, to show that a credit score has been obtained, but this will not affect your credit score.

If my credit rating changes mid term, will this affect my premium?
We will only undertake a credit search at new business or renewal. Mid term amendments will not be credit scored.

If you've previously had sole use of a company car (not a pool car) for business and pleasure, we may be able to offer you an enhanced introductory discount. You must have surrendered the company car within the last year, be claim free and able to supply a letter from your employer to confirm this information.

How to renew your policy
Renewing your policy couldn’t be easier. You will receive your renewal notice in advance of your renewal date. It will contain all your premium information and a breakdown of your cover.

Automatic Renewal:
If your policy is to be renewed automatically you will receive continuous cover. All you need to check is that the information on the renewal notice is still accurate. There is no need for you to contact us unless you need to make an amendment to your renewal.

Manual Renewal:
If your policy is not on automatic renewal you will be informed of this on your Renewal Letter. In order to renew your policy you should contact us as directed by your Renewal Letter.
